Originally built in 1860 as a stately three-storey home, Roselawn has since transformed into a vibrant cultural hub, now hosting Lighthouse Festival theatre productions, concerts, and community events- all while echoing whispers of its storied past.

Local legend speaks of spirits that may still linger, serving as spectral reminders of Roselawn's layered history. Visitors and paranormal investigators have reported sightings of a woman in white drifting silently down the front staircase, hearing the distant cries of a baby, feeling the presence of an unseen caretaker in the basement, and fleeting glimpses of an elderly man believed to be the home’s original builder, Levi Cornwall.
